Ai Analyst

CB Insights launches AI Analyst List Builder to help corporate strategy teams identify and discover target investments, acquisitions, or partners based on user inputs. 

Clients can leverage the CBI Analyst to generate relevant company suggestions based on a set of inputted keywords and initial set of companies. The AI Analyst takes a hybrid approach looking at competitor relationships and keywords to deliver precise company suggestions.

Process usually took users days to produce, by going through endless search results and shuffling through company profiles.

With the added skill to the CBI Assistant, it will provide a different pathway for customers looking to discover and find companies of interest based on what little information they have available to them. Instead of having to spend the time selecting specific search filters and looking at profiles, more users on a team can now get an AI generated list of suggested companies to consider.

Key Insights

Takeaways: Users feel that search is not intuitive, and typically go through search with an idea of the companies they want to look for. They use various programs to get insight to whether or not specific companies meet their criteria to be on a target list.

Give our wealth of data about these companies, it doesn’t solve the answer as to “why is this company better than the other?”
